RadioHigh's Quiz

Thank you for all the suggestions for RadioHigh's Quiz. If looks like the 'house' quiz is the one we will use so that it involves the whole school. The format for the quiz is as follows:

* Four pupils from a year group will be selected to represent each of the school's houses.

* The questions will be set by the class teachers for the Junior School and Mrs Dakers for the Senior School.

* The competitors will each have a different musical instrument instead of a buzzer to sound when they know an answer.

* Each competitor will be asked 2 questions each (to allow all competitors the chance to respond)with a time limit of 5 seconds to answer.

* If they do not answer or get it wrong the Quizmaster will give the corect answer.

* A set of 7 questions will then be given to all competitors and the first to sound their instrument and answer correctly will be awarded the point.

* The winning house will receive 50 house points.

* In the event of a draw a tie breaker question will be asked.

Please send a comment if you think we should change, add or remove any aspect of he above.

To encourage the whole school to tune into RadioHigh at home we will set an in-house competition to design a logo for RadioHigh. The winning design will be used on all our pages etc and the winner will be announced on the next show. All entries will be sent to Mrs Tonner and a representative from each radio crew will be asked to judge. What will the prize be?
